Kiss My Grits Winners and New Print in the Shop!

Hi there!  Sorry I've been a bit tardy announcing winners of the the Etsy Kiss My Grits prints! The shop has been crazy busy this week and I'm just trying to keep up with all of the orders!

So, the winners are:

Megan (Tales of the Trees)
Laura (The Land of Syd and Ben)
Angie
Faison (Fat to fabulous... and everything in between.)
Mrs. Jansson (The Jansson Family)

Congrats to all! You'll be getting an e-mail from me with the high-resolution file for printing!

I also got some inspiration to create another new print for the shop. I can't wait to print this one out and hang it in my kitchen. I think it's something we should all remember. Have a great weekend!!!

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.
