Cute iPod Valentine

Hey yall! Happy Friday! I don't have much time because I am SLAMMED at work, but I wanted to share this adorable idea for a valentine shaped like an iPOD! A friend at work showed it to me and I think it is awesome! Makes me totally want to make this! It's basically construction paper wrapped around a conversation heart box, then all of the other pieces are glued on. The text is just printed out and cut. The string is basic utility string glued to two Reese cups!

I wish everyone a happy, loving and blessed valentine's day! I'm off to Cincinnati next week for our annual sales meeting, so hopefully I'll have some fun stories to tell and pictures to share! Not looking forward to going to where it is even colder than it is here, but it will be fun!

  1. Oh this is adorable! if I had a chance to head out and pick up the supplies, I'd make these for the girls on my floor. I guess they'll have to be happy with hearts and Dum-Dums!

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
