Pucker Up Y'all!

Lipstick. Underrated, but never unnoticed.

I think lots of women don't even wear lipstick anymore, but I still apply every morning and touch up before I go out. I'm the kind of girl that likes to switch things up, pick a lighter color for one day, and a darker color for another. But I don't like to keep 20 different tubes of lipstick lying around because I'd either lose them, they'd melt because I left them in the car, or they'd end up in another purse and I'd never find it until I used that particular purse again (and I have a lot of purses).

So, I saw Avon's new product in a magazine I was reading lately (not sure which one) and it just so happens a lady at work is now selling Avon. It's called SpectraColor Lipstick and it gives you 7 different colors/shades of lipstick in one tube! (And it's sticky - I love sticky lipstick, but I know it's not for everyone.) Best thing about it - it's only $9.50 - and I got it from my Avon rep on sale fror $7.50!

Here's an ad from the UK with Reese Witherspoon showing how it works. Click to play.

  4. I love lipstick, too. I think it is definitely underrated :)

What a great idea from Avon! I hate having to carry multiple tubes, as they often melt in my car. Love this!

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest! To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!! So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop . So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want! So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out ! And may the force be with you!

Baby Shower Inspiration Boards

I got all excited about the baby shower inspiration board contest over at Sippycups Are for Chardonnay , but only ended up submitting this first one on time. I managed to pull the second together this weekend just for kicks and loved the colors, so thought I'd share here. The first board is call "Nesting Instincts" and the second is "Over the Rainbow". I think I could get addicted to creating these things.
