You Asked for It!

Ok, several people asked to see the closet pics so you could see the "before" status of my office space. Here are two pics - the first is the closet is its usual state - of disarray, and the second is after I did some clean up. It still needs work, but I'm slowly making progress. This closet has basically been where I throw everything when I need to clean up quick and store old baby stuff the little guy doesn't use anymore, so it's a mess.

And here are some PINK PAINT samples I picked up at Home Depot this weekend!!!! Hubs actually likes the darker one, but I think I should go lighter!!!

  5. I agree with Chloe- I love the dark pink, but dark might make that space smaller. So in that case, I like the middle one!! Regardless of which one you choose, I bet it will be cute!!

  6. Stripe it using the dark and the light! At least it's a small space and you won't have to tape off a whole room!!!

  11. I think you should go with the darker one. I have a pink office, and I went with a brighter pink. It looks really good with the white furniture I have.

  12. I actually like the lightest pink. The cool icy tone feels very fresh yet oh-so-chic. Kinda Domino if you know what I mean. Either way whatever you choose is sure to look fabulous! Can't wait to see the transformation.

  14. I vote for light pink. My bedroom is a super light pink and I love it - soothing but fun and not really girly! I've managed to convince my husband of the same thing somehow!

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest! To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!! So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop . So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want! So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out ! And may the force be with you!

Baby Shower Inspiration Boards

I got all excited about the baby shower inspiration board contest over at Sippycups Are for Chardonnay , but only ended up submitting this first one on time. I managed to pull the second together this weekend just for kicks and loved the colors, so thought I'd share here. The first board is call "Nesting Instincts" and the second is "Over the Rainbow". I think I could get addicted to creating these things.
