You Asked for It!

Ok, several people asked to see the closet pics so you could see the "before" status of my office space. Here are two pics - the first is the closet is its usual state - of disarray, and the second is after I did some clean up. It still needs work, but I'm slowly making progress. This closet has basically been where I throw everything when I need to clean up quick and store old baby stuff the little guy doesn't use anymore, so it's a mess.

And here are some PINK PAINT samples I picked up at Home Depot this weekend!!!! Hubs actually likes the darker one, but I think I should go lighter!!!

  1. I like the color in the middle, I think it would look great!

  2. I vote for the lightest one! :-)

  3. hmm... I agree with your husband on the dark pink, but it could make the space look smaller. great progress!

  4. great progress!

hard choice. those 3 pinks all look great!

  5. I agree with Chloe- I love the dark pink, but dark might make that space smaller. So in that case, I like the middle one!! Regardless of which one you choose, I bet it will be cute!!

  6. Stripe it using the dark and the light! At least it's a small space and you won't have to tape off a whole room!!!

  7. Great color choices, but I must agree with hubs...darker one wins!

  8. The lighter one seems more versatile..but all pink is gorgeous!

You have definitely made can see the floor!

  9. The color in the middle!

Your close is IMMACULATE compared to what I'm working with over here. ;)

  10. All three colors are so very pretty, but I think the darkest pink is my favorite!

  11. I think you should go with the darker one. I have a pink office, and I went with a brighter pink. It looks really good with the white furniture I have.

  12. I actually like the lightest pink. The cool icy tone feels very fresh yet oh-so-chic. Kinda Domino if you know what I mean. Either way whatever you choose is sure to look fabulous! Can't wait to see the transformation.

    Sherry (& John)

  13. How FUN! I love the dark pink color!!!

  14. I vote for light pink. My bedroom is a super light pink and I love it - soothing but fun and not really girly! I've managed to convince my husband of the same thing somehow!

  15. I vote for the ligther one...really you can't go wrong with any of them! :)

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
