A Place at the Beach

This is a plug.
That's all there is to it.

My family has a condo at Indian Beach for rent starting this spring and throughout the year. It's my in-laws condo that they have been living in for the last two years, but they've bought another place at the beach, so this one is now vacant, cute and ready to be loved by you!

The condo is located in Indian Beach (between Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle in North Carolina) and you can go here to visit the property managers if you're interested in renting it!

It is a fabulous place for kids, you can walk to putt putt, car racing, etc. They have a pool, jacuzzi, grills, tennis court, basketball court and the most beautiful views of the beach around! Our property is not up on their site yet, but here are some sneak pics. They are putting it up soon and if you are interested in renting for this summer, ask for #214.

It has two bedrooms and two baths. Master has a king, second has twin beds. Couch is great to sleep on too (trust me, I've done it a million times, with the sliding door open and the beach breeze blowing in...ahhhhh). Wonderful deck to sit on and feel the ocean air.

Things to Do:
OC Spa (5 mins)
North Carolina Aquarium (5 mins)
Beaufort, NC (15 mins)
Fort Macon State Park (15 mins)
Crystal Coast Dining

I was reading your post about southern people, and you're SO right. I'm from New York, and I live in New Orleans... such a difference in people!

  5. My grandparents used to have a beach house in Ocean Isle, NC. I used to spend every summer there as a child. I know just what you're talking about. Such a wonderful, beachy place!

Happy Pills

I'm a crazy person. At least, that's what I feel like some times. And it runs in my family. No, not really crazy (and don't take offense if you are one of me), but just clinically depressed and filled with anxiety. It's as if I don't have something to worry about in my head constantly, then I don't feel normal. Luckily, there's a pill for that. It's a bitter pill, one that I'll basically have to take the rest of my life, but I've slowly accepted that it's like any other disease, and just like diabetes or heart disease, that little pill is gonna make me better. But that little pill makes me gain weight, gives me the brain shivers when I miss it, and although I've tried to get off it multiple times, I just can't. So I guess that makes me an addict as well. But it's a pill that my grandparents and family didn't always have, and they suffer from it as well, so I should be thankful for this little red capsule of happiness...
