Love Fabric? You'll Love Spoonflower

How cool is this: a site that lets you design your own fabric and order whatever amount you want! Spoonflower lets you print fabric from designs you upload to your own account on their web site. There is no minimum fabric order and no set-up fee. You can order a swatch for $5, a fat quarter for $11, or multiple yards at $18 each. Registration is free.

It's a great solution if you're looking for a fabric that you have in your head, but just can't find it! Or something to match that perfect shade of blue you painted your walls. Or how about a repeating monogram on fabric? You could do some fun things with that!

Check out http://www.spoonflower.com/ and see some of the fun patterns people have designed!

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
