Vinyl Is Cool Again

I've been meaning to post about the cool vinyl wall decals I've seen on Etsy, and Nina Knows Best's recent post reminded me of these cool decor options.

You can find something for every room in your house (demonstrated by the toilet adornment below) and they are removable and reusable, so you can also use them for seasonal decor!

Just do a search on Etsy for wall decal, and you'll find some great, customizable pieces, like these.

  1. I love them! If we owned our apartment I would totally do this.

I've been eying them for the day when we own our own property!

  2. Those are really eye-catching. I think I like this decal deco :)

  3. I love them too. I need to search on ETSY for these. They are such a great idea.... I wish I would have thought of it. :)

  4. I love them too! I'm going to have to check them out!! Thanks for the info! Did you get your new gifts? They made me send it through another carrier so it took longer but it should have gotten to you Fri of last week! :) Is it all ok/in one piece? :)

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
