Life in the Express Lane

Just wanted to drop this little tip online for all the mommies out there looking for a way to save some time (any anyone else that may not be a fan of grocery shopping).

I love shopping online with Harris Teeter's Express Lane. It saves me soooo much time by letting me shop for groceries online, save past orders so I can just click to add the regulars to my basket and eliminates the "mommie, I want some candy...mommie I want this..." effect that often occurs when I take little man to the store. This actually gives me the ability to justify the $4.95 charge for this service (I would easily spend that on junk in the grocery and for first timers, this fee is waved). Another justification - all sale items are shown in one area of the site, so I can compare prices and pick the best deal! Of course, I still have the smaller trips I take, and little man comes too and we can actually enjoy ourselves and take our time looking. But times that I need to get in and out - this is the total solution!

Another advantage - I place all of my orders for really heavy things at one time and I don't have to load them into the car - they do all of that for you too (think cat litter, milk, drinks, dog food, etc.) and all you have to do is push a little button and they do the rest! Easy peasy!!!! If you don't have a Harris Teeter around, I'm sure there are others that offer this service - give it a try!

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest! To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!! So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop . So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want! So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out ! And may the force be with you!

Baby Shower Inspiration Boards

I got all excited about the baby shower inspiration board contest over at Sippycups Are for Chardonnay , but only ended up submitting this first one on time. I managed to pull the second together this weekend just for kicks and loved the colors, so thought I'd share here. The first board is call "Nesting Instincts" and the second is "Over the Rainbow". I think I could get addicted to creating these things.
