There is a Flower Within my Heart, Daisy, Daisy!

I've always loved daisies. Typically, a daisy is a symbol of innocence or peace. It can also be a symbol of sisterhood, love and purity. Beautiful wild daisies used to grow by the road to the fishing pond at my grandparent's house. My dad used to take me there in the summers and on the way home, I would always pick a handful of flowers to take to my mom.

My best friend and I got tattoos my senior year in college - mine was a daisy. My mother said when I got pregnant it would be a field of daisies, but she was disappointed when it wasn't affected a bit by my two-week overdue baby belly.

Now to my point...and I do have one...I love this sweater from Anthropologie. I actually love everything about this outfit, from the shoes to the length of the white shirt under the sweater. Fall is coming y'all, get ready for the new stuff to hit the blogs and the stores! Here's my first official fave of the season!

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
