Mustard for Fall...And I'm Not Talkin Hot Dogs

Mustard seems to be everywhere this season. Specifically, I've seen it in a lot of different pant styles paired with other solid jewel tones. Top it off with that gold jewelry you've been dying to bring out and it's a perfect ease into fall.

I love this color and already have quite a bit of it in my wardrobe, so very excited that I am finally in fashion! About time!

And for you youngsters out there that don't get the Grey Poupon reference, check the commercial from 1988 here.

  1. Love it - you are so good at these style sets!

I look atrocious in mustard but love it on others - and sandwiches. However, that pink skirt puts it far enough away from my pasty visage that I just might be able to pull it off . . .

  2. Mustard is not my best color, but I love it so much, I wear it anyway. Great picks!

  3. I love mustard I'm glad I get to pull out my mustard skirt again.

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
