What an October!!!

I know, I missed me (hopefully). I knew months ago that October was going to be a rediculously crazy month, but whew - I had NO IDEA how crazy it would really get!

So, I know I've neglected the blog, but maybe if I show you what I've been up to, you'll forgive me???

A weekend in the mountains, with a side of trout fishing...

Sponsoring a triathlon with work (but not doing I'm not that crazy)

Rooting for the home team at the Carolina Panthers Stadium...

Helping raise about $75,000 for breast cancer treatment...

Halloween - of course!! And some Halloween parties...

So, that's about it...nothing much...oh and working full time, mommying full time and wife-ing full time and all that other good stuff about life!

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
