All Over the Place

I know, I know, I've been bad at updating my blog lately. It's just been a crazy month. March flew by and April looks to be doing the same. I was in Arizona all last week with work, picked up the cute little Spongebob above for my sweet little guy's 6th birthday party coming up in less than two weeks! Housekeeping must have thought it was cute too because they sat him out on my bed after they cleaned one day. It made me smile when I walked in that afternoon.

Our Kidzu Gala is this weekend and we've got some fabulous art for the auction and the decorations are going to be out of this world! I can't wait to share pics from the event! Now if I could only decide what I'm going to wear.

I'm fighting a cold. Party due to that dry Arizona weather (what do people see in Arizona?) and party because of the change of weather I'm sure. This is the type of cold that would knock Mike out for about a week. We mamas, just gotta keep trucking.

Plans are in full force for the birthday party. A co-worked volunteered yesterday to show up dressed like Darth Vader (he just happens to have a costume). I'm not going to tell Walker - keeping it a surprise. He is going to love it!!

My best friend had her baby, after twenty-some hours of labor! She and her husband have been blessed with a precious baby girl. I can't wait to get down to Atlanta to see them and snuggle on her. Oh, and dress her up like a little Barbie doll and take lots of pictures of her.

That's just a bit about my crazy world. I promise to get back into the blogging groove very soon and do more than one post a week! Right now, life is calling, and I can't slow down to type!

  1. I hope you feel better soon! I know exactly what you mean about how husbands can be when they are the least bit sick... ;) Good luck with the birthday party!

  2. Sorry that you're sick, but cracking up about the difference in mommies and daddies handling colds!

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest! To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!! So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop . So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want! So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out ! And may the force be with you!

Baby Shower Inspiration Boards

I got all excited about the baby shower inspiration board contest over at Sippycups Are for Chardonnay , but only ended up submitting this first one on time. I managed to pull the second together this weekend just for kicks and loved the colors, so thought I'd share here. The first board is call "Nesting Instincts" and the second is "Over the Rainbow". I think I could get addicted to creating these things.
