Biggest Project Evah!!!

You may or may not know I dabble a bit in freelance design on the side and my most recent project kept me up until 5:00 am last Saturday morning, but I met the client deadline and crashed early Saturday night.

It was my biggest project to date, and I'm really happy about the way it turned out.

My challenge:150 Bat Mitzvah invitations, designed, hand cut, with RSVP cards, party cards and brunch invites. The client wanted a theme that was black and white with polka dots and this is what I came up with. My favorite part? The matching stamps we ordered online from stamps.com!

She sent them out this week and is getting lots of great comments back on them!

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
