Cool Like That

Ask for a mohawk and yee shall receive! I contemplated saying no on this one, but I figure, hey, it's Friday and it's just to preschool, let's have a little fun.

Inspired by the multitude of mohawks on "So You Think You Can Dance".

Yet more proof I'm a cool mom (at least in my own little world).

  1. He is too cute! That is a cool mom action.

  2. He is so handsome and you are indeed one cool mama for letting him rock a faux-hawk (as my hubby would call it! hah! he let's my little niece do this to his hair on occasion!) Love your new blog header too! :) Happy weekend!

  3. You're only that young once, right? I bet it was a hit at school with the other kids.

  4. Very cute! Mohawks on children always make me smile.

  5. Good move Mom. For many reasons, good! xoxo

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
