The Way They Think

"Mommie, you are the best cleaner in the world and daddy is the best golfer." Brief pause, then he asks,
"Mommie, are you and daddy married?"

"Yes we are." I answer.

He quickly responds,"Oh...that means you die at the same time, right?"

  2. So precious how their minds process what they see and draw those conclusions! Love that he already has those roles down pat. - Daddy = Golfer | Mommy = Cleaner. Yes, he's definitely got it figured out ;-) xoxo

  5. I've never commented before, but this post was funny enough to draw me out of hibernation. He is too stinking cute! Literally laughed out loud when I ready that. I'm in Raleigh and enjoy reading what life is like out in Durham. I'm also in my early 20s, and love catching glimpses of life with a husband and child. :)

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!

Madder than a Wet Hen

Sunday afternoon, I went to the grocery store, came home, left the car unlocked for hubs to get the groceries out (hey, I buy, he puts them up) and I forgot to lock the car back. Monday morning, I get into the car and everything has been pulled out of the glove compartment, middle console and backseat pockets.

Unfortunately, the little guy left his Nintendo DS Lite in the back because he was playing it at the yard sale this weekend. It's the only thing of value I left in the car and they got it. It just makes me so mad.

Now I feel like an idiot - I haven't reported it to the police yet because I don't want a lecture about locking my car doors at night - I know I'm supposed to, just forgot!!!!

Hubs is now obsessed with catching the criminals, sleeping with one eye open at night. I'd heard that the economy has caused more crime, but why did they have to steal from us, from my little guy?
