Birthday Number Five!

I can't believe Walker turns five in two weeks! I love planning a party, and last year we went to Disney instead of having a party, so I am ready this year!

His first party was a big deal, we had a circus theme:

Second year, Monsters Inc because we watched it almost every day!

Third year, superheros! Everyone had their own capes made out of plastic tablecloths.

Fourth year was Disney!

...and this year will be sports-themed! I couldn't find an invite I liked, so I just came up with this one! And this is the cake he wants mommie to make him! Stay tuned for more ideas and updates! And if you have any good ideas for a sports-themed party, bring it on!

  2. What a great invite. And the cake is beautiful - Will you make it like a wedding cake with each layer a different cake flavor?

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
