I'm BAAAAAACCKK!!

Hi everyone! I know it's been almost a week since I posted, but we were hanging with the Big Cheese down in Orlando. We really had a fabulous time and thought I'd recap just a little for everyone. If you have any questions about Disney, please feel free to ask. I learned a lot about how everything works in wonderland while I was there.

We stayed at The Contemporary, and it was so worth it. The room was awesome, the pool was great and being that close to everything was extremely convenient. We loved riding the Monorail and my favorite park was The Magic Kingdom.

We didn't rush to the park each morning, because the little man (and we) were tired every morning and I let him sleep in. We would get to the parks around 9:00 - 10:00 and stay until 3:00 or 4:00, then we went back to the hotel and hung out at the pool and at the lake. A couple of nights we went back out around 8:00 to catch fireworks and parades. The little man got into the pin trading, because his cousins had them - so my four-year-old was walking around Disney with his little pin lanyard and about $50 worth of pins stuck to it. It was so cute.

We roasted marshmallows on the lake beach at night and watched a couple of the outside movies they played by the pool. The week went by so fast and about 7 hours into our drive home, the little guy started screaming for Mickey. He wanted to go back.

  9. Would love to hear your "tips and tricks" as we will be taking our 4 year old to Disney in September. While I have been three times, it has been 11 years since I was there last. My husband has only been once and barely remembers his trip. Your hints would be priceless!

Happy Pills

I'm a crazy person. At least, that's what I feel like some times. And it runs in my family. No, not really crazy (and don't take offense if you are one of me), but just clinically depressed and filled with anxiety. It's as if I don't have something to worry about in my head constantly, then I don't feel normal. Luckily, there's a pill for that. It's a bitter pill, one that I'll basically have to take the rest of my life, but I've slowly accepted that it's like any other disease, and just like diabetes or heart disease, that little pill is gonna make me better. But that little pill makes me gain weight, gives me the brain shivers when I miss it, and although I've tried to get off it multiple times, I just can't. So I guess that makes me an addict as well. But it's a pill that my grandparents and family didn't always have, and they suffer from it as well, so I should be thankful for this little red capsule of happiness...
