Personalized Valentines

I have something against those valentines you buy in the box at Target that include "one free teacher" valentine and have cheezy sayings and goofy characters on them. I loved them when I was little, and I know the kids do too, but I'm just picky that way.

For my little guy's first Valentine's day I created a picture Valentine for him, with a cute black and white picture of him that I made look like a Valentine and I took them to Target and printed a bunch of copies and bought envelopes from Michael's and slipped them into his classmate's cubbies. All of the moms loved them!

This year, I've put together this cute little card for his classmates and to send to family.
Want one too? Send me a pic and your kid's "classified ad" and I'll put something together for $15.00. Each design will be a little different, with different colors and graphics. I'll send you the high-res graphic and all you'll need to do is print them! And feel free to be inspired by mine to create your own too!

  1. This might be the cutest thing I have ever seen! A little guy who loves corndogs for breakfast...what a catch!

I kind of think I would like them with my pets...I may email you this weekend :)

  3. A-dor-able!

So very inspiring to do some fun stuff with my photoshop!

  4. HOW CUTE!!! Oh, if only I had children!!!!

  5. What a great idea! You're so creative, I love it! Like Muffy said...if I only had kids!

  6. Cute, cute. I feel the same about the store-bought ones...then and now. Do you remember AGONIZING over which one to give which boy in 3rd grade???? I do the same for our son's valentine's...get them from Shutterfly for family and friends. For school, I drew a little "Adam" cartoon that I use every year and it seems to go over well.

  7. Oh my gosh! I love this! You think it's creepy to make one with the ultrasound picture after we find out the baby's gende? Ha! Maybe we'll wait until next year!

  8. What a fantastic card...wish I still had little ones at home..

  9. I read this one day too late - I just bought Lauren's last night at the store, but maybe it's still an idea for Josh for his friends. Let me see what I can think up. I'm an accountant so I'm not very clever at those things. Lauren will be so excited to get her picture of Walker. She still has the 1st one.

  10. that is the cutest thing i've seen all day!

  11. That's so cute it makes me want to procreate!

  12. Wow that is the cutest card I've seen! I just might have to think of a way to get me, beau and puppy in a pic!!

  13. How precious! I am in love with this idea!

  14. This is too cute!! I love this idea!

  15. I was just telling J last night how ridiculously talented you are.... case in point

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
