Christmas Cookies

Sugar sprinkles everywhere.
Sticky hands, sticky floor.
Red and green yumminess.
Full tummies, sugar high.
Laughing all the way.

  1. Thanks for the memories. My daughters are now 24 and 22 and I have many photos just like this! Actually, however, we're still capable of making plenty of messes in the kitchen when it comes to decorating Christmas cookies. But what fun is it to be neat???

  2. Too sweet. Also, love the new header.

  3. Seems like cookies made by little fingers just taste better!

  4. So sweet! {pardon the pun!}

    and they look delicious!

  5. Yum yumb yum! I can't wait to make these when I get home :)

  6. The thought of decorating cutouts with the kids entered my mind and quickly exited it.

  7. Cuuuuuuuute! I have to make some with Landon!

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
