I'm Too Tired to Think of a Fun Title of This Post

Yep, I'm that tired. I'm in Atlanta, working a trade show for the company. I actually enjoy these things because I get to eat yummy food, hang out with new people and sleep in comfy Marriott beds, but standing up allllllllll friggin day wears me out.

I'm telling you, no matter how expensive your shoes are, your feet are going to hurt after a day like today. I think I've probably walked about 5 miles today, in heels. I've been back a forth from the convention hall to the hotel 5 times and answered about 30 e-mails. At least we got to eat some great oysters on the half shell and grouper for dinner. Yummy.

It's 9:00 now, I miss my little guy so much and I've got one more full day to go. This is a pic I took last week of him sleeping. He is a heavy, heavy sleeper like his mom! Nothing wakes him up! Too bad it's not a very long plane ride home, that's when I usually get some good sleep and recoup. Good nite all!

  3. Sweet, sweet picture. Yeah, heels and being on your feet all day - not a good combo! Hope you get a great night's rest :)

Happy Pills

I'm a crazy person. At least, that's what I feel like some times. And it runs in my family. No, not really crazy (and don't take offense if you are one of me), but just clinically depressed and filled with anxiety. It's as if I don't have something to worry about in my head constantly, then I don't feel normal. Luckily, there's a pill for that. It's a bitter pill, one that I'll basically have to take the rest of my life, but I've slowly accepted that it's like any other disease, and just like diabetes or heart disease, that little pill is gonna make me better. But that little pill makes me gain weight, gives me the brain shivers when I miss it, and although I've tried to get off it multiple times, I just can't. So I guess that makes me an addict as well. But it's a pill that my grandparents and family didn't always have, and they suffer from it as well, so I should be thankful for this little red capsule of happiness...
