Stolen Style from the Target Aisle: Dansko Leopard Clogs

I was in Target Friday and this lady was behind me wearing these wonderful leopard-print Dansko clogs. They were so great I had to tell her how much I liked them. I thought about these shoes all weekend and how great they would be with almost every outfit I put on. So, of course, I ordered them. I found them at Nordstrom, which currently has free shipping for shoes! They will be here tomorrow!

I can totally justify this expense cause my current Dansko clogs are like 6 years old and that's about $20/year average - you can't find shoes for that! And Danskos are the most comfortable shoes in the entire world! Thanks Target lady for the fashion find!

  1. Aren't they just fabulous? I stumbled on your blog while googling "clogs" in the blogsearch. I've been wearing Dansko for 12 years since diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and just love the comfort...and STYLE! I just posted a plaid one I found at The Walking Company on my blog about comfortable, stylish shoes.
I love your blog--I consider myself a Southerner at heart even though I live in Chicago. My folks are in WV and I grew up there. We vacation in NC every year.

  3. Well, I'm glad you found them and you love them. Not so much my type of shoe, but to each their own right?

  6. I spied these at the Post Office and went home to find them online. I also ordered them from Nordstroms's but have to wait a few more days. The first pair were too big.

Can't wait to wear them! Enjoy!

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest! To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!! So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop . So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want! So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out ! And may the force be with you!

Baby Shower Inspiration Boards

I got all excited about the baby shower inspiration board contest over at Sippycups Are for Chardonnay , but only ended up submitting this first one on time. I managed to pull the second together this weekend just for kicks and loved the colors, so thought I'd share here. The first board is call "Nesting Instincts" and the second is "Over the Rainbow". I think I could get addicted to creating these things.
