...is most definitely my favorite quote from the Sex and the City Movie. I love Big...
I know everyone has been blogging about the movie, and everyone has seen it, but I think it is just too good not to keep talking about. I pre-ordered five copies of the movie and sent to my best friend, my sister, several other friends and kept one for myself. Note: Great Christmas present for the females in your life. And definitely check out the version with Michael Patrick King commentary - I've never watched a commentary version of a movie before, but it's really fun to listen to where the inspiration for the fashion and different ideas came from.
I saw it in the theater, just like everyone else out there probably, but to me, it's in the "Pretty Woman" category of a movie you can never see too many times. Admittedly, I could actually do without the sex part of the movie, I just love the clothes, the city, the friendships and the love stories.
If you've never visited the website coolspotters.com, it's a fun site with current trends and info on what's currently "in". They have a great Sex and the City Page here that shows some of the products in the movie. Seeon has a great Sex and the City page too!
I think my favorite item in the entire movie is this wall decoration, which is actually a rug/wallhanging from The Rug Company (aka, I can't afford it). I'm thinking of buying a canvas and scrapbook paper that is similar in design and cutting pieces and creating this same look. I'll take pics when I'm finished...
What's your favorite product in the movie - and you can't say the blue Manolos because that's a given!

ReplyDeleteI've never watched SATC or seen the movie, but I do think it's cute that my 81 year old mom is a big SATC fan. She's seen all the shows and went to see the movie twice. hee-hee
