(TAG) Six UN-Spectacular Things About Me . . .

I received a tag last week from Another Online Mom and I'm just now getting a chance to think about six un-spectacular things about me...I mean, do I really want to make these things public? Hee hee...

Here's the rules: Link the person who tagged you. Mention the rules on your blog. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them & leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.

1. I love the Bee Gees and have like 30 of their songs on my iTunes. What can I say - one can never get Too Much Heaven - You should be dancing too. Just keeps me Stayin Alive.
2. I hate pumping gas in my car. In my hometown, we had a place that had an attendant that did it for you and not until I went to college did I once pump my own gas.
3. I love having an only child and hate it when people ask me why I'm only having one. It's my choice, let it go.
4. I will argue with a wall - according to my husband. Both he, my parents and my boss think I should have been a lawyer. I don't see this as a bad thing, just evidence that I fight for what I believe.
5. I have a magazine obsession, but only have time to read them on planes or in the bathroom. :-)
6. I'm a sucker for tradition and hate change, but lately I've had to get over myself and deal with it.

Ok, Tag you're it: (I have picked you six because I love your blogs!): Jillian, Inc.; SippyCupsAreForChardonnay; ClemsonGirlandtheCoach; BarefootInThePark ; PreppyNewlyWed; Melissa Morris.

  2. Thanks for the tag. Will post soon. I have to think which of the hundreds of quirks I actually want to put in black and white! (PS - I love the Bee-Gee's, too. As a matter of fact, have then in my CD changer in my car now). I saw their "One Night, One Show" in Vegas in 1997 on my 30th birthday. By far the best concert I've ever been to.

  3. Hi there!!! Thanks for the blogby. I love your place here, it's so light & refreshing. AND now that I see you love the Bee Gees & have an only child then I have to come back & visit. I too have one 4yo boy & we love it!! Couldn't picture changing life as we know it. And the Bee Gees rock. I love listening to them on my iPod while I cook in the kitch!!

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest! To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!! So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop . So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want! So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out ! And may the force be with you!

Baby Shower Inspiration Boards

I got all excited about the baby shower inspiration board contest over at Sippycups Are for Chardonnay , but only ended up submitting this first one on time. I managed to pull the second together this weekend just for kicks and loved the colors, so thought I'd share here. The first board is call "Nesting Instincts" and the second is "Over the Rainbow". I think I could get addicted to creating these things.
