Go to the Mall, Then Go to eBay

I love eBay and know that it is intimidating to some people, but all you have to do it set up an account and play around with it to get a feel for how easy it can be. I've bought and sold lots of things on eBay and the best thing I've learned about eBay is the ability to buy brand new items that are currently in stores at significantly more affordable prices! So, my typical rule of thumb is when I see something in a store that is at least $50 and is a fairly common item or brand name, I seach eBay first before buying.

My most recent purchases are my digital camera, retailing for $199.99 at Target, purchased on eBay for $165.00...

and these great gold pumps - $143 at Nordstrom, $47.00 (with shipping included) on eBay.

Try it and see what you think. You'll be amazed at what you can find on eBay!

Baby Shower Inspiration Board: Sweet Little Things

It's been a while since I posted an inspiration board, so when I saw that Angie Harmon's friends threw her a candy-inspired baby shower this weekend, I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas of what it may have looked like! Yummy!

New Addition to the Family...

Meet the newest member of our extended family, Sporky. Sporky arrived Christmas day and was the one and ONLY thing my 12-year-old nephew wanted for Christmas. I've never held a hedgehog before now and it's not a pleasant experience when they point their spikes out at you, but Sporky started to overcome his shyness as the holidays passed and he's starting to get used to all of the attention. He really is a cutie.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest!

To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!!

So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop. So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want!

So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out! And may the force be with you!
