Seriously, I'm having a rough week.
- It's still January - will this month ever end?
- Had a fight with my boss (and cried in his office - hate doing that).
- Have no money because I caught up on all my Christmas bills and first-of-the-year taxes.
- P.M.S. (see zits in above self-portrait)
This morning I was all pouty and weepy and Mike just hugged me and said, "if I was your boss, I'd give you the biggest raise I could." That lifted my spirits - almost as much as the chocolate. Almost.
"When life gives you PMS, make giant, triple-chocolate cupcakes. For dinner."
Before I even read the post I thought, She looks so natural and pretty in that picture...hopefully chocolate and sincere flattery will do what even Pamprin cannot :)
ReplyDeleteOh sweetie...I'm so sorry :( I hate fighting with my boss and I have done that...couple times!!
ReplyDeleteI have done the "Eat-everything-bad-for-me" days too. Havea better day sweetie.

ReplyDeleteFunny, the only vitamin that I have no trouble taking daily, is, CHOCOLATE!! Without the lows, there would be no highs, may you be rewarded soon with lots of highs to balance your universe. God knows and SHE is in control!

I will definitely be making these! They sound delicious!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the boss. I know it's hard (not to mention stressful) when management issues arise at work. I suggest venting as needed to us (your readers) and getting a daily dose of Dilbert. :)
Keep up the great work on your blog!
You are so beautiful in the picture!! SMILE!!! Please pray for me as I head to the Dominican/Haiti sunday!!
ReplyDeleteThis is my new favorite saying! Hope today is better -- and your husband sounds like a sweetheart.

ReplyDeleteAwww, Wendy! I love you! I think you look cute and I would give you a raise if I had any money! :) Heck, I would pay you for the work you do for PPs if we had any money! You are awesome!
ReplyDeleteHey Stephanie! We made it! Tomorrow is February!!! I think a celebration is in order!!!! Should we all dress up like groundhogs and go dance in the snow?? I thought about streaking naked through the neighborhood but I can't run that fast and it would probably give somebody a heart attack!!! Any ideas??
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry! I can definitely see those cupcakes helping, they sound amazing! I hope everything looks up very soon! I think that pic of you is beautiful!=)
