I had my first department store makeup lesson about how to apply makeup to make you look younger this weekend. I was basically looking for foundation, but you know how they talk you into the chair and then start trying things on and telling you how fabulous you look? I'm a sucker. I did learn a couple of good tricks and ideas about how to look younger with makeup, and just in case you didn't already know them all, thought I'd share. This guy was some national makeup artist for Trish Mcevoy, by the way, so I figured he knew what he was talking about. Also, first time I've had a dude to do this, and I kinda liked it. First, don't use blush . He said to use bronzer above the apples of the cheeks and also use as a quick eyeshadow. Always use upward strokes when applying color on the cheeks, never circles.
