I'm telling you, no matter how expensive your shoes are, your feet are going to hurt after a day like today. I think I've probably walked about 5 miles today, in heels. I've been back a forth from the convention hall to the hotel 5 times and answered about 30 e-mails. At least we got to eat some great oysters on the half shell and grouper for dinner. Yummy.
It's 9:00 now, I miss my little guy so much and I've got one more full day to go. This is a pic I took last week of him sleeping. He is a heavy, heavy sleeper like his mom! Nothing wakes him up! Too bad it's not a very long plane ride home, that's when I usually get some good sleep and recoup. Good nite all!
You are so right! No matter how well prepped you are on the shoe front, conventions will kill your feet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious picture! I love sleeping babies!
Sounds like you have had a busy day! Poor thing, I bet your feet are killing you.
ReplyDeleteLove the pic. So sweet!
Sweet, sweet picture. Yeah, heels and being on your feet all day - not a good combo! Hope you get a great night's rest :)
ReplyDeleteAw! My little boy is a heave sleeper as well, and it is NOT fun to have to wake him up! There is nothing more precious than a sleeping child!
ReplyDeleteI hope Atlanta is treating you well!
ReplyDeleteI feel ya on the standing all day! I attend a lot of career fairs for my job and I have to take lots of sitting breaks!
