Home again, Home again, Jiggity Jog

I'm finally home! Yeah!!!! I was able to sleep in a tad at the hotel in Atlanta yesterday, did a little work in the morning and got a pedicure at the hotel spa before lunch. My little piggies need some extra attention after all the walking & standing I've been doing this week!

Of course, I bought a new coat as well - you guys are bad for my wallet. I managed not to buy one in Atlanta, trying to be financially responsible and all. When I got in the car in Raleigh I called my mom and was telling her I forgot to bring a coat and she reminded me that I left my black dress coat in Florida last year and never found it. I totally forgot that, so first thing I did was hit the local Macy's with my coupon and looked everywhere for the coat I previously posted, but it was nowhere to be found. I tried on about 20 different coats and found one just as cute and it's hanging on my office door as we speak. Regular price $280, I paid $99. Gotta love a good sale.

Another reason it's good to be home - when I checked my mail last night the vest I ordered from Boden in August was there - it was back-ordered all this time and it finally came!!! I'm wearing it today and have received about 10 compliments on it and one threat to steal it. It's that good.

When I checked my inbox this morning at work there were confirmed reservations for the Red Rock Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Looks like I'm headed to Vegas in January. Wonder if I'll need a coat?

  2. Too cute! Just curious...what color shirt do you wear under it?

  3. Right now I'm wearing a white cotton long-sleeve t-shirt under it. I think a white dress shirt would look good with it too.

Star Wars Gift Bag Tags

Two years ago, for Walker's Star Wars birthday, I created Yoda tags to attach to the gift bags for the party. Little did I know these bag tags would become so popular on Pinterest! To date, these tags have been repinned almost 500 times!!! So I thought since there's so much interest, I'd add them to my Etsy shop . So now, for just $8.00 - you can receive the file electronically and print them for yourself! I jazzed them up a bit with some sliver glitter puff paint on the light saber and some silver ribbon to attach to the dollar store bags. Print as many or as few as you want! So, if you are planning a Star Wars party, check them out ! And may the force be with you!

Baby Shower Inspiration Boards

I got all excited about the baby shower inspiration board contest over at Sippycups Are for Chardonnay , but only ended up submitting this first one on time. I managed to pull the second together this weekend just for kicks and loved the colors, so thought I'd share here. The first board is call "Nesting Instincts" and the second is "Over the Rainbow". I think I could get addicted to creating these things.
